THE BOX GIRLS
The Boxes were born one fateful night when an overcrowded restaurant, slow service and six hungry kids could have been a recipe for disaster. Drawing on Feiler’s background as a psychotherapist and Haddad's as an actress, the BFF moms scrambled to entertain the group by asking meaningful questions that anyone at the table could answer.
Their queries didn't rely on trivia like the latest sports scores, Hollywood gossip or movies. They involved serious issues, including ethics and morality, charity, history and religion, as well as a strong appreciation for the bonds that tie together family and society.
Recalls Haddad, 'We got up from the table and realized we'd really gotten closer to each other that night. And we wanted to help other families achieve that same closeness.'
